Paddy Power Casino Review

Paddy Power Casino

Paddy Power have pulled off a massive overhaul of their casino in the last few months, replacing their old set of IGT/Wagerworks casino and slot games with the full set of Playtech games. Don’t panic if you loved the old games, though: they’re still available in a different section of the site, so in fact there’s now double the fun to be had on this excellent site from one of the world’s best-loved bookmakers.

Eligibility and Jurisdiction

Paddy Power Casino is run by Paddy Power Plc and registered in Ireland. It is left up to players to ensure that use of the site complies with the applicable law where they reside.

Software and Graphics

We liked the colour scheme here: subdued green and orange colouring keeps the background sober, letting the game icons do the talking with the brighter colours – a classic bookmaker’s casino style with an Irish twist.

Paddy Power have echoed the approach taken by most of the sports betting sites by using separate tabs for their casino, live casino and games categories. Normally, though, you’d expect the Games tab to bring up arcade and scratchcard games, however in this case it launches the original IGT casino in its entirety with all the original table, slot, arcade and scratchcard games that were offered before the Playtech games were added.

Games

It’s hard to know where to start. With two casinos under one roof there’s enough varieties of everything to keep anyone happy, but we felt the range of slots offered between the two casinos was what made Paddy Power stand out. Where else can you find brand new state-of-the-art instant classics like Beach Life (with its Jackpot approaching 5 million Euros at the time of writing), Gladiator and Kong alongside TV classics like Deal or No Deal, Blankety Blank and Blockbusters?

As well as letting you know which games are the most popular and the newest, Paddy Power also make their own recommendations, so we took their advice and had a crack at Blade. An interesting change from the comic book characters we normally get from Marvel, this was a riotous excursion into a twilight world of vampires, combat and lust for power with a dynamic multiplier, split symbols and a multi-level mystery progressive jackpot. It was even more fun than watching the film that inspired it…

Also heavily promoted was Mr Cashback, which we’ve been curious about for some time – and its title is no idle boast: if you manage to not win on any one of the active paylines 50 times in a row you’ll get a cashback award of 50 times your line bet. Add wilds, scatters and a classic red or black gamble feature into the mix and you’ve got endless hours of guaranteed swanky fun.

Bonuses and Promotions

The welcome bonus is 100% up to £100 followed by 50% up to £50 twice in a row. For example, deposit £100 + £100 + £100 and you’ll get an extra £200 to play with. The total £500 needs to be played through 32 times, so you’ll need to wager £16000 before withdrawing. Slots contribute 100% towards meeting bonus conditions, though all other games are eligible and none will forfeit your bonus.

There’s also a free £5 bonus for all new players (subject to a 50 times playthrough requirement), £25,000 to be shared out via a players’ leaderboard and other seasonal offers are continually rolled over to keep things nicely spiced-up.

Payment Methods

Deposit using Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta, Switch, Solo, Laser (Irish Customers only), Neteller, Moneybookers or Paypal. Withdrawals take 2-3 working days.

Customer Support

Support is available 24/7. Telephone them on 0800 028 2497, email at [email protected], fax to 00 353 1 488 1750 or use live chat.

In a nutshell, Paddy Power is a generous site: two casinos for the price of one and arguably a better range of slots than you’ll find anywhere else on the web. Their strapline puts it with typical Irish candour by promising you Fun and Games Online, and having played here for several very entertaining hours, we’re inclined to agree.

Paddy Power Casino was reviewed by Tim on Feb 1, score 8.7 range is between 10 and 0.
